Your workshop includes access to our fully stocked Shimmer Studio, featuring a curated selection of glitters, crystals, embellishments, adhesives, tools, and finishing supplies to help you bring your piece to life.

You’ll have everything you need to create during the workshop, along with guided instruction, your project materials, and access to shared specialty supplies throughout the room.

Want to keep creating after the workshop? Take-home Shimmer Kits will be available for purchase so you can continue the sparkle at home.

Not at all! Shimmering Images workshops are designed for everyone, whether you consider yourself creative or haven’t picked up an art brush in years.

You’ll be guided through the process step by step, from choosing where to add sparkle and dimension to applying glitter and embellishments for the best effect. There’s no “right” way to create your piece, and every finished artwork will be uniquely yours.

Absolutely! One of the best parts of the Shimmering Images experience is turning a photograph that means something to you into a piece that truly sparkles.

You may bring a favorite personal photograph for your project. Photos with clear subjects, good contrast, and areas that naturally lend themselves to highlights and embellishment tend to work especially well.

If you’d prefer, you can also choose from available Shimmering Images designs. If your photograph needs to be professionally printed for the workshop, printing options may be available during registration.

Come comfortable—and feel free to make it cute!

While we do our best to keep the shimmer on the artwork, you’ll be working with high-quality German glass glitter, adhesives, and other craft materials, so we recommend wearing something you won’t be heartbroken over if it encounters a little sparkle.

Just a note: German glass glitter is different from the standard poly-film glitter that most are accustomed to. German glass glitter is heavier and doesn’t adhere to skin/clothes/object like poly-film glitter (AKA - the herpes of the art world). While you may take home an extra sparkle or two - you won’t have to worry about finding glitter everywhere for weeks on end.

Please do! You absolutely do not need to bring a friend to attend.

Our workshops are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and social. You’ll be creating alongside other people, comparing ideas, chatting, snacking, and probably admiring everyone else’s projects along the way.

Come with your best friend, bring a group, or arrive solo and meet someone new. Either way, you’ll always have a seat at the table.

We understand that plans change, so while workshop registrations are non-refundable, your payment is never simply lost.

If you’re unable to attend, you may:

• Transfer your registration to another person for the same workshop.

• Transfer your registration to another available workshop date (to be used within six months of original workshop date).

• Receive Shimmering Images credit to use toward any future workshop, product, commissioned piece, Party Pack, or other eligible service (valid within six months of original workshop date).

Because seating is limited and materials are prepared in advance, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.

Our goal is to give you flexibility while making sure your reserved seat and materials can still be put to good use.

Absolutely! Private Shimmering Images workshops are a wonderful way to celebrate birthdays, bridal events, girls’ days, team gatherings, family get-togethers, corporate events, or simply an afternoon of creating together.

Private workshops require a minimum of 5 guests and can be customized around your group, occasion, and preferred artwork.

Your experience can include the artwork, shimmering materials, tools, guided instruction, and event setup. Depending on the location, food and beverage options may also be available or coordinated for your group.

Private workshops may be hosted at one of our partner venues or, when appropriate, at another location arranged for your event.

Just send us your preferred date, approximate number of guests, and the type of celebration you have in mind, and we’ll help you create an experience that feels special from start to finish.
